Denn von Bauwerken mit ähnlich gearteten Randbedingungen lassen sich Lösungsansätze für die eigene, aktuell gestellte Planungsaufgabe ableiten. Mit dieser Broschüre liegt nun eine Arbeitshilfe für den Bereich der Eisenbahnbrücken vor, in der entwurfsrelevante Informationen über realisierte außergewöhnliche Bauwerke in übersichtlicher Form zusammengestellt sind. 25 Brücken meist kleiner und mittlerer Spannweite werden mit technischen Daten, Fotos sowie Planauszügen vorgestellt. Das Gros der Bauwerke befindet sich in Deutschland, es werden aber auch Brücken präsentiert, die in Österreich, den Niederlanden, Frankreich bzw. Spanien gebaut wurden. Die Brücken wurden innerhalb der letzten 15 Jahre errichtet und befinden sich im Regelbetrieb. Die Auswahl der Projekte erfolgte so, dass eine große Bandbreite an Tragwerkstypen, Bauverfahren und Detaillösungen abgedeckt wird. Somit hat die Beispielsammlung ein breites Anwendungsfeld und ist für alle am Entwurf von Eisenbahnbrücken Beteiligten hilfreich und nützlich.

The Affective Computing domain, term coined by Rosalind Picard in 1997, gathers several scientific areas such as computer science, cognitive science, psychology, design and art.
